History

NAVI Junior is an academic Dota 2 roster of the Ukrainian cybersport club Natus Vincere

NAVI Junior roster was announced on 02.08.2022, coached by Ivan ArtStyle Antonov, who has previously played for Natus Vincere main roster as a coach and player. ArtStyle helped the organization with the selection of participants in the team for 3 months. As a result, the team was joined by young players 15-17 years old, who had never played on the pro scene before. Taras gotthejuice Linnikov started to play on carry, Richard Ri4man Kalninsh on mid, Yuri pma Protz on offlane, and Tamir Daze Tokpanov and team captain Stanislav Riddys Mitroshkin on sapports. 

NAVI Junior first appeared on the competitive scene in December 2022, participating in the open qualifiers for the DPC-League in Eastern Europe, but the guys failed to qualify even for the closed qualifiers. In April, the five played at Malta Vibes #1, where they were eliminated in the first round, losing to KZ Team. Also in April, NAVI Junior played at DPC EEU 2023 Tour 2: Division II, taking a slot in the main roster "born to win". At the league the boys showed good results - they won 3 main matches, as well as one on replay, thus securing the 4th position in the standings.

In 2023, Ri4man went inactive and was replaced by Askar toshiyb Zhumagulov, but after failing to qualify for The International 2023, he left the squad. In September of the same year, Artem Niku Bachkur joined the youth team on a permanent basis. Together with him the team tried their hand at qualifying for such tournaments as DreamLeague Season 22, ESL One Birmingham, PGL Wallachia Season 1 and DreamLeague Season 23, but failed to qualify for any of them. In addition, the squad participated in European Pro League 17: Division 1 and European Pro League 18, where they took 1st and 3rd place respectively. In addition, NAVI Junior placed 10th at the RES Regional Series: EU 2 and 6th at the Dota2 World Invitational.

In the summer of 2024, NAVI Junior participated in the qualifiers for Riyadh Masters 2024, The International 2024 and Elite League Season 2, where they placed 5th, 4th, and 3rd respectively. Although the team did not qualify for any tournament, Junior was remembered by the audience for their spectacular gameplay. Later the team tried to qualify for PGL Wallachia: Season 2, DreamLeague Season 24 and ESL One Bangkok 2024, but was unsuccessful. However, the roaster won the European Pro League Season 20 and 21. In December, W_Zayac replaced Tamir daze Tokpanov in the NAVI Junior roster. The team participated in the MESA Invitational 2024, where they placed 2nd.

In January 2025, NAVI Junior left the coach - Ivan Antonov. At the end of the month the team won the CCT Dota 2 Series 6. In February the coach of the club became TheHeartlessKing. Under his leadership the roster became a finalist of CCT Dota 2 Series 7.

At the end of April, the team competed in PGL Wallachia Season 4, showing fairly good results, although they finished in 7th-8th place. In May of the same year, the team received a slot at DreamLeague Season 26 due to another team’s withdrawal.

Later, the NAVI Junior roster became the club's main lineup after qualifying for the Riyadh Masters 2025 and The International 2025, where the team finished 9th-12th and 14th-15th, respectively.

On September 19, NAVI Junior unveiled its new roster. The roster's main achievement was winning the UESF Ukrainian Championship 2026 Stage 1. In April 2026, the roster was disbanded due to inconsistent results.
