Bio
Chen Zhou Yao is a former professional player from China. He is the champion of The International 2012 (as part of Invictus Gaming). Zhou is the player with the highest prize earnings in the first DotA tournaments.
Zhou began his career in 2011 as part of iG.Zhou. At that time, the organization had two rosters, but in the same year they were merged into one, with Chen becoming the captain. At that time, there were few Dota 2 tournaments in China, but by TI2, the team was one of the favorites. iG managed to win and become champions, but soon a conflict arose between Zhou and ChuaN. At TI3, this became one of the factors of failure, and although the team took 5th-6th place, Chen decided to leave it. After a while, he continued his career at TongFu, but, according to him, he was no longer playing at the level he aspired to. In February 2014, Zhou left TongFu and announced his retirement. However, he occasionally appeared in the Old Boys “all-star” team and also worked as a commentator.
In mid-June, as part of Team Zhou, he competed in the Chinese tournament Immortal Cup S1 and emerged as champion.
