Bio
Chai Mushi Yee is a Malay cyber athlete, a legend of the first Dota and one of the strongest middies in Dota 2 until 2014. Chai is a bronze medalist at The International 2013 and a two-time 4th place winner of tournaments in the series.
It is not known exactly when Chai came to cybersport, but at the end of SMM 2009, a major DotA tournament, KuroKy said: “After playing a mid game against Mushi, I feel like a nub”. He moved to Dota 2 in the fall of 2011, and his first team was Orange Esports. The roster made a name for itself when it won the Malaysia Invitational and the Razer Invitational Showcase. After receiving an invitation to The International 2012, where the team placed 8th. The following season was also full of achievements for Chai: “bronze" G-1 Champions League Season 4 and 5 and victory at AMD Premier League Season 2 gave the opportunity to play at The International 2013, where Orange Esports made it to the final three.
The following year Mushi joined Team DK. The main goal of the team was to become the champion of The International 2014, to which the team went hard during the season: won 8 international tournaments of the dash-1-2 level and performed brilliantly at the others. Alas, at the main event of the year Chai and his teammates were honored with only 4th place, after which they left for other teams. Mushi first played in Titan, then in EHOME, and then gathered Team Malaysia , which after the first big wins was signed by Fnatic.
In 2016, the team finished in the top 6 at The Shanghai Major 2016 and The Manila Major 2016 and became the bronze medalists of StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 2. The main success of the season, however, was a 4th place finish at The International 2016. After TI Mushi left the team and returned to the Dash 1 scene only in 2018, already as part of Mineski. The team became the champion of Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018 and reached the 5-6 line of three majors. The International 2018 was the last, to date, event in Chai's career as a player. There, he finished in 9th-12th place. After leaving Mineski, he played in various dash 2-3 stacks before becoming a coach for BOOM Esports. The team qualified for ESL One Bangkok 2024, but failed to advance past the group stage.
Roster started 2025 with a 14th place finish at DreamLeague Season 25. Later, the roster competed at FISSURE Universe Ep.4, finishing in 11th place and 13th at DreamLeague Season 26.
In 2025, the team qualified for The International 2025 but couldn’t reach the playoffs and finished the tournament in 15th place.
