Bio
Mason masondota Venne — an American professional Dota 2 player who plays the carry position.
His Dota 2 career began in 2013 as part of the Take Five team. With this team, he won the qualifiers for RaidCall EMS One Fall Season, but before the tournament started, the roster was disbanded. In 2014, masondota joined Evil Geniuses as a stand-in for Fear, who was recovering from a forearm injury. As a stand-in, he helped the team qualify for StarLadder StarSeries Season 9 and win MLG T.K.O. America. After Fear was forced to go inactive due to his injury, masondota became a permanent member of the roster. During this period, the team won The Summit and HyperX D2L Western Challenge, placed second at ESL One Frankfurt 2014, and finished in the top three at The International 2014. After TI 2014, masondota left the team.
In 2015, masondota achieved only one notable result — first place at ProDotA Cup Americas #1 while playing for Shazam. In early 2016, he joined Digital Chaos, with which he won BTS Americas #3, but soon left the team and briefly played for Dragneel. In 2017, masondota joined Team Onyx to participate in the qualifiers for The Kiev Major 2017. Before the major, the team was signed by Digital Chaos, and under this tag, the team placed 9th-16th at the tournament. The team then qualified for The International 2017, where they finished in the top 12. They competed in several tournaments by the end of the year, but without much success, leading masondota to leave the roster and take a long break from the pro scene.
In March 2019, masondota joined Infamous to compete in DreamLeague Season 11: The Stockholm Major, where the team also finished in the top 12. After that, he played for several other teams but decided to focus on streaming, only occasionally serving as a stand-in.
In August 2024, masondota decided to return to the professional scene and formed the stack 9class ate my homework to compete in the qualifiers for PGL Wallachia Season 2.
