Player XBOCT from from Team Babka Dota 2
Bio
Oleksandr XBOCT Dashkevych is a legendary Ukrainian professional player, the permanent kerry of the "golden era" of Natus Vincere. In Dota 2 Oleksandr immortalized his name as the winner of The International 2011, silver medalist of the next two and champion of the biggest tournaments of his time.
XBOCT's career began back in the first Dota, on the Planet-X team, where Axypa also played. In 2010, he joined the first Natus Vincere roster alongside Goblak and Mag. A little later, with the arrival of ArtStyle and Dendi, the team started to show its prohibitive results. After a resounding victory at The International 2011, XBOCT and company went on to win every major tournament of the season and finally reached The International 2012. At this championship they almost repeated last year's success, but lost to Invictus Gaming.
At Alienware Cup 2013 Season 1, an English-language analytics studio rated XBOCT's skills at 4/10, which spawned dozens of memes on the Internet and awakened the beast in the player himself: Natus Vincere took the 1st place at this tournament, beating unstoppable Chinese teams at that time. Another cultural symbol Alexander acquired after a video posted on the network, where he eats banana with appetite. Thus, the number 4 and the mentioned fruit became a part of the pro player's media image.
At The International 2013 XBOCT again became a silver medalist, but the next year his team's game went downhill: not the most successful 2nd half of the season turned into a failed 7th-8th place at The International 2014. Alexander and his teammates made their way to the next main event of the year through qualifications: their guys passed, but at the tournament they took only 13-16th place. That was the end of XBOCT's cooperation with Natus Vincere. Subsequently, he briefly played in Team Empire, where he won his last major tournament - Game Show Global eSports Cup Season 1, and then got lost among the nameless stacks.
In 2017, after an unsuccessful collaboration with Anji, Alexander ended his career as a pro player. He worked as a coach at Natus Vincere for a season and then focused on covering matches.
