Bio

Peter ppd Dagher is a professional player originally from the United States.

ppd's career started in HoN, and he switched to competitive Dota in 2013, when he joined the ranks of first Stay Free and then Super Strong Dinosaurs together with zai. The players gained widespread fame in the S A D B O Y S stack when they won 19 consecutive American tournaments. Shortly thereafter, the mix became part of Evil Geniuses. That same year, the ppd-led collective hit the dash-1 scene: entering the top-2 of ESL One Frankfurt 2014 and winning two major international competitions. Fear's hand injury was the only thing that prevented them from winning The International 2014; however, the squad made it to the top three finalists of the championship and received more than $1 million.

The captaincy talent of ppd was revealed in early 2015, when Evil Geniuses lost two key players. Peter managed to find a replacement for them in the form of SumaiL and Aui_2000 and built a strategy so that the renewed team won DAC 2015, Dota Pit League Season 3 and the final The International 2015. The next season was also full of surprises for the captain: the roster was not stable, so for the successful performance at The International 2016 it was changed right before the qualifications. After winning them, ppd and company reached the 3rd line of the tournament ranking and received more than $2 mln. Later Peter left the club's roster and moved to the position of CEO, where he worked the whole next season.

Upon returning to the pro scene, ppd created his own team, The Dire, which later introduced OpTic Gaming. The team won the StarLadder ImbaTV Invitational Season 5, placed 2nd at an ESL major and 7th-8th at The International 2018. Peter's next season began with Ninjas in Pyjamas, which ended up being his last team. The squad won two minors in 1.5 years, but fell out of The International 2019. In April 2020, ppd ended his career as a player.
