Bio
Egor JotM Surkov is a former professional player, Dota 2 coach, streamer and analyst.
In the days of the first DotA, he played in local LAN tournaments and online championships. Since the beginning of 2013 he played for zRage and Virtus.pro (as a substitute). JotM participated in the infamous 322-match of Alexey Solo Berezin at SLTV StarSeries Season 6. After The International 2013, JotM assembles the Poseidon team with Illidan, KSi and Crazy, with which he wins his first professional tournament - SteelSeries Euro Cup 2.
In December 2013 Egor joined Virtus.pro as a main roster player. Together with VP JotM he took 3rd place at the Excellent Moscow Cup and made it to The International 2014: Wild-card, but the team failed to reach the group stage.
The 2014/15 season became more successful for VP and Egor: in the fall, the team won at MSI Beat It in Taipei and took third place at DreamLeague Season 2. However, in the spring, Virtus.pro 's results went down, and the organization chose to support only the Virtus.Pro Polar lineup. After that, JotM helped VP and other teams several times as a stand-in, and in the summer of 2015 he finished his career as a player.
In April 2017, Team Empire announced Egor Surkov as the new head coach of the team, JotM worked in the team until the following February. Under Egor's leadership, the "imperials" won the LAN-tournament ROG MASTERS 2017 and entered the top-8 at The International 2017.
Since 2015, JotM has been a regular contributor to Russian-language coverage of The International and Dota 2 majors, most often serving as an analyst. Since 2017, he has also been hosting private streams on Twitch, most often playing Dota 2 or World of Warcraft.
