Player NS from from Team NS Dota 2
Bio
NS – a former professional player in Dota 2, who became known in the CIS community thanks to his active participation and positive attitude towards the game. He is known for his posts about the latest events in the game, analytics, and commentary on matches at the RuHub studio, as well as creating a variety of video content dedicated to Dota 2.
Yaroslav began his player career in 2005. At that time, major tournaments in the CIS were a rarity. However, after two years of playing on the SAY_PLZ team, he was able to take first place at MYM Prime Defending 1 and participate in the largest tournament at that time – ASUS Open. After the SAY_PLZ team, NS joined the maGe team, with which he won the ASUS Winter in 2007. Afterwards, NS continued his career on the Rush3D and Virtus.pro teams. Together with his teammates, NS won three times the champion title of the legendary ASUS Open tournament in the CIS. Yaroslav owes a lot to players such as LighTofHeaveN, Smile, and Dread, whom he met during his victories and defeats in the tournaments. In 2009, he played for the Russian national team at the MYM Nation and ENS tournaments.
NS periodically changed teams, but spent a long time in some of them. For example, he played on Virtus.pro from 2012 to 2014. The team often changed its lineup, so NS played with Santa, KuroKy, Illidan, and even Smile. Although Virtus.pro did well at regional tournaments, the lineup only took 13-16th place at The International.
In 2013, before the start of StarLadder StarSeries Season 8, NS announced a loss of motivation and interest in Dota 2. He decided to end his player career to fully devote himself to analytics and commentary on matches. However, after a year, NS returned to Virtus.pro to participate in The International 2014, where the team took second place in the qualifications but failed to qualify for the main stage of the tournament, losing to MVP Phoenix in a match. On August 25 of that year, NS officially ended his player career and fully switched to analytics and commentary on matches.
