Winter Bear win European Pro League Season 34 after 4IVAN ban
In the grand final of European Pro League Season 34, Winter Bear secured a hard-fought 3:2 victory over Team Lynx and earned $10,000 in prize money. In head-to-head statistics, Lynx have only one win compared to five for Winter Bear.
On the first two maps, the "bears" took the lead, dominating from the early stages of the game. Lynx then managed to regroup and equalized the score, pushing the series to a decisive fifth map.

Earlier, the team found itself at the center of a major scandal related to match-fixing suspicions involving one of its players. During the group stage, former carry Ivan 4IVAN Moshkovskiy effectively stopped participating in the game, remaining AFK at the fountain. Despite this, the team still won the match.
Later, the organizers announced a ban for the player from their tournaments and forwarded the investigation materials to Valve, while the rest of the roster was not penalized and was allowed to continue competing with a substitute.
