Virtus.pro wins Dota 2 Champions League Season 12

Virtus.pro defeated Gaimin Gladiators in the Dota 2 Champions League Season 12 grand final with a score of 3:2. It was not an easy win for VP: the Russian team prevailed on the first map, and then made a comeback after losing 1:2.

The team of Roman «RAMZES666» Kushnarev received a direct invitation to the tournament, so they started their journey from the playoff stage. There Virtus.pro defeated cybercats, Team Unique and Entity Gaming before facing Gladiators in the grand final.

VP made $20K for the first place at D2CL S12, the finalists earned $10K, while Entity added $7K to the team’s budget. The prize fund of the tournament, which took place from June 13 to July 11, amounted to $50,000.

As CyberScore reported, Virtus.pro inflicted the first defeat on Team Spirit in the Dota Pro Circuit 2021/22 Tour 3 and climbed to the first place in the first division table.
