"Only 0.02% of players: Valve reveals prediction stats for The International 2025"
Valve shared statistics on predictions for The International 2025. It turned out that not a single fan managed to correctly predict the exact placement of teams in the first stage of the tournament.
According to the developers, only 0.02% of users were able to correctly name at least ten teams. In total, fans made over a million predictions. Valve commented on the event in a humorous way:
Finally, we would like to congratulate those who correctly predicted the placement of all sixteen teams on the ‘Road to The International.’ That is… no one. Imagine, not a single one of millions and millions of predictions was perfect.
Valve also reminded that players will still have a chance to try their luck in the main stage of The International 2025, which starts on Thursday.
It’s also worth noting that there is exactly one day left before the closing of predictions and the opportunity to assemble fantasy players. Rewards will be distributed on September 18, with the best predictors receiving a choice of Arcana and the chance to get the Aegis trophy for free, which was previously only available for reaching level 1000 of the Battle Pass.
The International 2025 takes place from 04.09.2025 to 14.09.2025 in Hamburg, Germany, with 16 teams participating. The starting prize pool for the event is $1,600,000. You can follow the progress of the tournament in detail in the report.
