Valve postpones DPC Eastern European Spring Tour indefinitely

Tournaments

Valve has announced that it does not yet know when the second season of Dota Pro Circuit 2021/22 will take place in Eastern Europe. The spring tour was postponed for an indefinite time after Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

As reported on the official website of Dota 2, Epic Esports Events contacted the developers of the game and said that the company will not cover the second season of the DPC 2021/22 in the region. The organization explained that now teams, players and community have to focus on ensuring their safety and security.

It is noted that some of the participants were ready to compete in the spring league, but Valve spoke to all the players and concluded that it is impossible to continue the tour today.

On the night of February 24 a new patch 7.31 for Dota 2 was released. You can read more about it here.
