BetBoom Team will compete with a stand-in at BLAST Slam II
Esports organization BetBoom Team announced changes in the roster for BLAST Slam II. Due to visa issues Vladislav Kataomi Semenov will miss the championship, he will be replaced by Alexander TORONTOTOKYO Hertek.
The situation was described in detail by team manager Luka Lukawa Nasuashvili in his Telegram channel.
“Flying to Denmark with Alex.
Kataomi has a fresh Schengen visa valid for a year, just like the rest of the team, but since it's in a non-biometric passport (a 10-year passport that was used for travel at the time of application and had another visa in it), it can't be used to enter Denmark. There was an option to apply for a new visa, but in that case, the old Schengen visa would have been canceled, and a one-year visa is a rare thing.
We decided it would be more practical to play this tournament with a stand-in. Hopefully, this will be the last tournament in Europe this year where we have to play with a replacement. Thanks to Alex for agreeing to help!”
