The International 2025 prize pool surpasses $2.3 million
The prize pool for The International 2025 continues to grow: by early September, it reached $2,350,341 — $750,000 more than the initial amount just 12 days after the release of the new Compendium. According to Dota 2 Prize Pool Tracker, the growth dynamics of TI14 nearly mirror those of The International 2024 but fall significantly short of the 2023 record.
This year, Valve made the Compendium completely free for all players for the first time. Core features, including the fantasy league and prediction system, are available to everyone. Additional contributions to the prize pool come solely from the sale of team and caster support bundles — 30% of their value goes directly into the pool.
As in previous years, Valve’s base contribution amounted to $1.6 million. The International 2025 will be the first championship without the traditional Battle Pass, which directly impacts the growth pace of the prize pool.
The International 2025 will take place from 04.09.2025 to 14.09.2025 in Hamburg, Germany, with 16 teams participating. The starting prize pool for the event is $1,600,000.
Earlier, CyberScore.live reported that bookmakers had named the favorites for The International 2025.
