Team Falcons one step away from a record — ESL One Birmingham 2026 organizers congratulate the players in advance
Team Falcons midlaner Stanislav Malr1ne Potorak shared a letter from the organizers of ESL One Birmingham 2026, which mentions the team’s upcoming achievement. According to the document, the roster will set a new record for the number of maps played by the same five-player lineup.
The esports player posted a photo of the letter on his personal Telegram channel. In the message, ESL emphasized the significance of the achievement:
By the end of the group stage here in Birmingham, you will surpass the record for the number of games played together by a five-player team. This record was originally set by Alliance in 2016 and stood for almost ten years. It is incredibly rare to see such longevity in modern Dota 2, and it is unlikely that anyone will break this record after you.

At the moment, the record belongs to the 2013 Alliance roster, which played 688 maps under a single tag. The current Team Falcons roster has 675 maps, and the record could be broken during the upcoming tournament.
It is worth noting that Falcons could have set the record earlier, but the team played at PGL Wallachia Season 7 with a stand-in, as Stanislav Malr1ne Potorak missed the tournament due to visa issues.
