Steelseries announced a cosplay contest at The International 2024
Steelseries has announced its annual cosplay competition, which will take place as part of The International 2024. The event's prize pool will be 18,000 euros.
The competition will take place in three stages:
- Group Stage - September 4-5
- Playoffs - September 6-10
- Winners' performance at The International 2024 - September 13-15
Besides money, the organizers have prepared other prizes for the winners. There will be a total of 10 prize places, 4 of which will be Skill Awards, meaning the costumes will be judged according to specific parameters.
- Best Performance Award (5,000 euros + a full set of SteelSeries equipment + 2 tickets to The International 2024) - the cosplayer with the highest overall score based on the judging event.
- Best Technique Award (2,500 euros + a full set of SteelSeries equipment + 2 tickets to The International 2024) - the cosplayer with the cleanest and most accurate work. The cosplay should impress with its design, maneuverability, and durability.
- Best Transformation Award (2,500 euros + a full set of SteelSeries equipment + 2 tickets to The International 2024) - the cosplay should represent a complete outfit that impresses with its scale and construction. Strong visual impact will play a key role, but it should also be well-made and wearable.

Judges' Choice Award (2,500 euros + a full set of SteelSeries equipment + 2 tickets to The International 2024) - the cosplayer who impresses the judges the most with their craftsmanship and character portrayal.

Anyone can participate in the competition; applications are accepted until September 1, 2024.
The International 2024 will take place from September 9 to 15 in Copenhagen, Denmark. 16 teams will participate in the tournament.
