SQreen has left the position of head of the Dota 2 department at Edge

Analyst and streamer Khaled sQreen El-Habbash announced his departure from the position of head of the Dota 2 department at the esports organization Edge. According to him, combining work at the club and streaming activities became impossible due to new tournament regulations.

El-Habbash mentioned that he had planned to stay with Edge in the long term to apply his experience in team building and working with sponsors at the tier-1 level. However, current tournament rules prohibit club employees from making bets or streaming matches with predictions, even without bets. This directly affected his main activity - the streams that brought him popularity.

sQreen noted that he prefers to focus on his career as a streamer and ends his collaboration with Edge, thanking the club for the opportunity to work at the top level.

For the last time, I helped the organization Edge complete a deal with Mosquito Clan and buy the Dota 2 roster. Before the streaming incident, I had been consulting Edge for some time, and everything was going well, but the current rules too much restrict my activities as a streamer.

It’s worth mentioning that sQreen joined Edge on April 19. On the same day, he streamed PGL Wallachia Season 4 matches, during which he made bets. After this, PGL changed the regulations, banning anyone associated with professional teams, including organization staff, from making bets.

Earlier, CyberScore.live reported that 23savage will represent Talon at DreamLeague Season 26.
