The International 2022: all playoff participants have been determined

The group stage of The International 2022 has ended. The last 15 matches were played today. According to their results, Evil Geniuses, Team Liquid, PSG.LGD, and OG advanced to the upper bracket of the playoffs from group A, while Tundra Esports, Team Secret, Thunder Awaken and Team Aster progressed from group B.

TSM FTX was the first team to be eliminated from the tournament. The North Americans team didn’t manage to win a single series, drawing 5 matches and losing all the rest.

And the last two playoff participants were determined in replays. In Group A, BetBoom Team, BOOM Esports and Soniqs played against each other in the Bo1 round-robin format. The team from Southeast Asia turned out to be the strongest in this trio. In group B, Entity and Talon Esports competed for the last ticket to the playoffs. The team from Europe won the game with a score of 2:0.
