NS, Pure, KingR and Nongrata are included in the register of sponsors and accomplices of Russian aggression against Ukraine

On December 2, the War Sanctions portal updated the section with a list of persons who, in one way or another, were involved in supporting Russian aggression against Ukraine. Among the well-known cybersports figures, Yaroslav NS Kuznetsov, Ivan Pure Moskalenko, Rinat KingR Abdulin and Alexei Nongrata Vasiliev were added to the list.

Reasons for inclusion in the register:

The portal considers that the participation of russian athletes in international competitions is a means of whitewashing russia`s reputation (sportwashing), spreading disinformation, justifying and legitimizing aggression against Ukraine among foreign audiences and demonstrating russia`s continued presence in the civilized world, providing ways to establish international relations and cooperation bypassing sanctions.

The creators of War Sanctions call for the suspension of Russian athletes from international competitions and the exclusion of Russian sports functionaries from international organizations.
