Xtreme Gaming introduced a new replacement for Xm at BLAST Slam VIII

Mid laner Kam Moon Boon Seng has joined the Xtreme Gaming roster for BLAST Slam VIII as a stand-in. The announcement was posted on the team’s Weibo page.

Moon will compete in the tournament in place of Guo Xm Hongcheng, who will miss the championship due to personal circumstances. In XG’s current lineup, Bun Seng is listed on the main roster, while Gao Setsu Zhenxiong has been moved to the reserve.

Initially, Xtreme announced Setsu as a replacement for Xm, but later changed the roster. The organization did not disclose the reasons for this decision. Presumably, this is due to visa issues.

Moon is best known for his performances with Mineski, with whom he won the PGL Open Bucharest and the Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018, and placed 9th–12th at The International 2018 and 2019. Last season, the player represented Yakult's Brothers. The team qualified for ESL One Birmingham 2026 and two tournaments in the DreamLeague series, but failed to advance past the group stage in any of the competitions.

Xtreme’s first opponent at BLAST Slam VIII will be LGD Gaming. The championship will take place from 29.09.2026 to 11.10.2026. The group stage will be played online, while the tournament’s playoffs will be held in Malta. Sixteen teams will compete for a prize pool of $750,000.
