Player who admitted to match-fixing played at European Pro League Season 37
During the online tournament European Pro League Season 37, Arslan Xanni Shadzhanov played as part of GODSENT. In August 2023, he publicly admitted to match-fixing and received a lifetime ban from Valve. This was highlighted by former coach Timur Ahilles Kulmuhambetov, who published a post on his social media.
Previously, Xanni contacted Alexander Sensibility Filatov with a proposal to participate in fixed matches. After several games, Shadzhanov decided to stop, however, he was blackmailed by Filatov, after which he confessed and was banned from participating in tournaments.
Since mid-2023, the player had not appeared in any team rosters and only recently returned.

It is worth noting that two months ago, disputes once again arose regarding the participation of certain players in tournaments of this series, where Ahilles accused Dmitry zvёzd Bulatov of unfair play at European Pro League Season 35.
In February this year, a major scandal also occurred involving Ivan 4IVAN Moshkovskyi, who was officially disqualified by the administration from European Pro League Season 34 for match-fixing.
The issue of match-fixing is widespread in the professional Dota 2 scene, and even tier-1 teams are not immune to such cases. For example, the scandal involving the ban of Tommy Taiga Le from OG, as well as the involvement of EHOME in match-fixing in 2023.
At EPL 37, GODSENT have already played one series against MODUS, losing 1:2. Their next opponent will be Ilbirs eSports, with the match scheduled for May 2.
European Pro League Season 37 takes place from 27.04.2026 to 12.05.2026 in an online format. Twelve teams are competing for a $20,000 prize pool.
Cyberscore previously reported on the investigation by Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC) involving Taiga and Sensibility.
