LGD Gaming has parted ways with its Dota 2 roster
LGD Gaming’s Dota 2 roster manager, Barbara babibornia Borniya, announced that the organization has decided not to renew the contracts of the current roster. The players are now free agents.
The entire team had a contract with LGD only until August 24th. No one was kicked or anything like that, it was just the end of the contract.

LGD Gaming signed a South American roster, consisting of former players from Heroic, in May 2026. The team finished as runner-up at BLAST SLAM VII and placed 9th–12th at the Esports World Cup 2026.
Before the start of The International 2026, LGD was forced to replace Santiago TaiLung Olivos Aguero with Topias Topson Taavitsainen after TaiLung received a lifetime ban from PGL over suspicions of match-fixing and was removed from the tournament.
At the championship, the team reached the second stage, where it lost to Team Yandex in the decisive match for a spot in the playoffs and finished the tournament in 9th-12th place, earning $60,183 in prize money.
At this point, it is unknown whether the players will continue to compete together while searching for a new organization, as they did under the ex-Heroic tag, or if the roster will disband.
As CyberScore previously reported, Topson plans to resume his career.
