Filipe Astini Astini has announced that he will miss BLAST Slam III. The PARIVISION coach will be replaced at the championship by two-time The International champion Jesse JerAx Vainikka. Astini announced this on X.

“Lesson learned from Liquid: if you keep finishing second and actually want to win a LAN… just make sure your coach doesn’t show up.

So yeah — I’m not going to BLAST. Instead, JerAx will be there with the team. Let the magic happen!

Jokes aside, my wife is 8 months pregnant, and I’ve decided to stay home to support her. I’ll still be working with the team remotely and doing everything I can to help them succeed from afar”

Filipe also noted that the team had long planned to bring JerAx on as a mental coach. It's likely Jesse will continue working with the organization even after the tournament.
