AS Monaco Gambit Dota 2 roster gets disbanded

The Russian esports organization Gambit Esports has announced the dissolution of the AS Monaco Gambit roster. All players and team coach are now free agents. This was reported on the company’s page in VK.

The organization thanked the former participants for their work and wished them good luck in their future endeavors. The reason for this decision by Gambit Esports remains unknown. The former team line-up is as follows:

• Albert «alberkaaa» Chernoivanov
• Artem «Lorenof» Melnik
• Andrey «meLes» Romanov
• Alexander «Immersion» Khmelevskoy
• Sergey «HappyDyurara» Horonzhiy
• Vladimir «Chappie» Kuzmenko (coach)

It has to be noted that Gambit assembled this team in February 2021 in partnership with the Monaco football club. AS Monaco Gambit had an unsuccessful performance in the first season of Dota Pro Circuit 2021/22 for Eastern Europe, finishing 7th and getting relegated to the DPC Division 2.

As CyberScore reported, Chinese teams will not go to ESL One Stockholm Dota Major 2022.
