FISSURE Special: new Dota 2 tournament announced

The studio FISSURE has officially announced a new online Dota 2 tournament – FISSURE Special. The championship will begin in just a few days.

The main feature of the tournament will be the Elimination Draft system, where teams cannot pick the same hero twice within a single series.

The group stage will take place from 05.04.2025 to 10.04.2025, while the playoffs will run from 11.04.2025 to 13.04.2025. The tournament will feature seven invited teams, which will be announced later. The total prize pool of the event is $70,000.

It is important to note that the number of tournaments this season has significantly increased compared to previous years. As a result, some Tier-1 teams are taking a break to focus on larger events. Most likely, this tournament will be aimed at Tier-2 and Tier-3 teams.
