European Pro League 31: Tournament announcement – several new teams participating
The organizers of European Pro League Season 31 have officially announced the upcoming tournament. The list of participants features many new teams that have not previously appeared on the professional scene.
Among the already familiar teams are Kalmychata, L1GA Team, Pipsqueak+4, Nemiga Gaming, Winter Bear, Peru Rejects, Inner Circle and Team Tea, which recently revealed a renewed roster formed by former AVULUS players, including Akbar SoNNeikO Butaev.
It’s worth noting that Kalmychata became the champions of the anniversary season of European Pro League Season 30, defeating eSpoiled 3:2 in the grand final.
In the new season of European Pro League 31, several fresh teams will have the opportunity to prove themselves: 20Twice, Mostt Wantedd, and NAVI Junior, who recently introduced a new roster formed by players from the organization’s academy.
At the same time, the DreamLeague 27 Division 2 Stage 1 tournament continues, featuring Kalmychata, NAVI Junior, Peru Rejects, Pipsqueak+4, Inner Circle, and Team Tea.
According to current results, NAVI Junior and Team Tea are showing the weakest performance - both teams have lost all their matches in the tournament and failed to qualify for any Tier-1 championships.
Among the strongest teams are Peru Rejects, who look the most confident among the participants, having reached the closed qualifiers of PGL Wallachia Season 6, as well as Kalmychata, who have shown consistent results lately, making both teams among the main contenders for victory.
Attention should also be paid to Balaclavas, featuring experienced players such as Dimitris Thug Plivouris, Haris SkyLark Zafiriou, and Giorgos SsaSpartan Giannakopoulos. In the past, they finished second at The Boston Major 2016 with Ad Finem. Now, the team is gradually regaining form, having recently reached the closed qualifiers of PGL Wallachia Season 6, although they did not manage to advance further.
As for Mostt Wantedd, European Pro League 31 will mark their debut on the professional Dota 2 scene.
European Pro League 31 will take place from 16.10.2025 to 04.11.2025 in an online format. Twelve teams will compete for a $20,000 prize pool.
Earlier, Cyberscore reported that Runa Team became the champion of CCT Season 2 Series 5.
