Money is crazy! Where else will you see such a tournament, – dyrachyo reacts to the announcement of ESL Pro Tour

Gaimin Gladiators' carry Anton 'dyrachyo' Shkredov was very enthusiastic about the announcement of the ESL Pro Tour tournament series, which in the first year of its existence will consist of two DreamLeague seasons and The Riyadh Masters 2023 in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia.

"Money is crazy! Where else will you see such a tournament? You get 2 The Internationals a year. We've already been invited to DreamLeague. I don't know if I can say it, but in general, I don't care. We are the first in the ESL rankings, it actually means something," said dyrachyo.

According to Anton, teams from all over the world will take this series of tournaments with the utmost seriousness, because there are huge prize pools at stake compared to Major tournaments during the DPC season.

"Yes, teams need to prepare, you can’t just skip a tournament like some kind of practice, because the money there is colossal compared to these Majors for $500,000," the esportsman believes.

Dyrachyo also suggested that the teams will give their best not only in the ESL Pro Tour tournaments, but also in all the other events. The thing is that ESL will give invitations based on a rating system, which is compiled based on the results of the current season.

DreamLeague Season 19, which will be the first tournament of the ESL Pro Tour 2023 series, will be held from April 9 to 23. The total prize fund of the event will be $1 million. The winner will receive $300,000 and a direct ticket to the group stage of The Riyadh Masters 2023.
