Dota 2 patch 7.39c has been released

Valve has released a new balance patch 7.39c for Dota 2.

The update is quite large — changes affected 49 heroes at once. Several regular and neutral items were also reworked, and some bugs were fixed. The full changelog is available on the official website.

Despite the number of affected heroes, most adjustments were minor. Death Prophet, Pangolier, and Terrorblade were nerfed, while Sand King and Kez received slight buffs.

General changes:

  • Roshan now deals the same damage to couriers as melee heroes do.
  • Tormentor no longer reflects incoming damage to hero creeps, except for Lone Druid's bear.
  • Watchers near Wisdom shrines have been moved slightly away from the stairs, and their capture radius was reduced from 300 to 200.

It's worth noting that Valve has been updating the Dota 2 test client more frequently, which may hint at the upcoming release of the compendium dedicated to The International 2025. No official announcement or format details have been shared yet.

The patch was released during PGL Wallachia Season 5, held from 21.06.2025 to 29.06.2025 in Bucharest, Romania. Participants are competing for a $1,000,000 prize pool. This is the last major LAN event before Riyadh Masters 2025 (Esports World Cup 2025), set to take place from 08.07.2025 to 19.07.2025 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Earlier, Cyberscore reported that the LAN tournament Clavision DOTA2 Masters 2025: Snow-Ruyi had been announced.
