D2CL Season 7: Gambit Esports wins third match in a row and other results of January 29th

Gambit Esports recorded their third victory in a row at the Dota 2 Champions League Season 7, breaking the resistance of Into The Breach with a score of 2:0 on Saturday, January 29th. This allowed the team of Vasily «AfterLife» Shishkin to gain a foothold in the first place of group A. As for ITB, this match was the first for the team at D2CL S7.

The second match of the game day between Entity Gaming and chekoldyriki was canceled, as the latter refused to take part in it. For this reason, the team was awarded a forfeit defeat (0:2).

In the final match on January 29, CIS Rejects and No Sorry met. The first did not experience any problems and got an easy 2:0 victory over their opponents. It has to be noted that No Sorry replaced COOLGUYS at the D2CL S7. The team of Gleb «y0nd» Vazhnov agreed to start the tournament with two defeats and now they have got the third one.

D2CL S7 group stage standings

D2CL S7 runs from January 24 to February 17. 18 teams from Western and Eastern Europe take part in the tournament. They are fighting for a prize pool of $50,000.

As previously reported, two players left the Alliance’s Dota 2 roster after the failure of the Swedish team in the DPC 2021/22 first season.
