ALOHADANCE and RodjER return to the pro scene: what is known about the new team

Professional players Ilya ALOHADANCE Korobkin and Vladimir RodjER Nikogosian announced that they will compete in the open qualifiers for BLAST Slam VI under the tag TbIIIIa_HA_CAnAX. The announcement was made by Korobkin on his Telegram channel.

ALOHADANCE last played on the professional scene in 2022 as part of Natus Vincere, where he finished second at Dota 2 Champions League Season 6 and placed fifth at DPC EEU 2021/2022 Tour 1: Division I. However, the team failed to qualify for major international tournaments.

RodjER ended his professional career in 2024. His last team was L1GA Team, with whom he failed to qualify for tier-1 tournaments and later left the roster.

The remaining players are largely unknown and have only made a few appearances in tier-2 and tier-3 teams. It is likely that this roster was formed solely for the qualifiers, and in case of failure, it is unlikely that the players will continue competing together.

The open qualifiers for the tournament will take place on January 2–3 in Europe, China, and Southeast Asia. As a result, four teams will advance to the closed qualifiers, where spots at the main event will be contested.

The group stage will run from 03.02.2026 to 05.02.2026. A total of 12 teams will compete, playing a Round Robin format with BO1 matches. The top two teams will advance directly to the playoff semifinals.

Teams finishing from third to eighth place will continue their run in the Play-in stage, where playoff slots will be on the line. Squads placing ninth to twelfth will move to the Last Chance stage and will have to play two series each for a spot in the final phase of the tournament.

BLAST SLAM VI will take place from 03.02.2026 to 15.02.2026 in Malta. Twelve teams will compete for a total prize pool of $1,000,000.
