1win has issued an official statement regarding the blocking of their Twitch channels during the broadcast of the 1Win Series Summer. During the two days of the tournament, 4 channels of the organization were blocked: 3 in Russian and 1 in English.

The statement from 1win esports regarding the Twitch channel blocks during 1win Series Dota 2 Summer

— On the first and second days of 1win Series Dota 2 Summer, we faced difficulties with Twitch broadcasts. Unfortunately, they were quite significant. As the organizers of the tournament, we have something to say.

— First and foremost, we deeply apologize to all our viewers and fans. Such situations negatively affect a wide range of metrics, but most importantly, they detract from your viewing experience.

— On the debut day of 1win Series Dota 2 Summer, our main Russian channel was blocked. We immediately switched to our backup channel and continued the broadcast without issues until the end of the matches.

— On the same day, we filed an appeal for the channel's unblocking, but as of the publication of this text, we have not received a decision from Twitch.

— On the second day of 1win Series Dota 2 Summer, our backup Russian channel was blocked. Similarly, we filled out the official form and are awaiting a response from the platform.

— A new, already third channel created, was blocked two minutes after the stream started.

— During the final bo3 in Group B, our English channel was banned.

— Immediately after that, we switched to the backup English stream. At the time of publication of this text, it is operational, but we are mentally prepared.

— This is already the second incident in the short history of 1win esports. We faced a similar situation during our previous event, 1win Series Dota 2 Spring. Back then, our main English channel was blocked, but that was the end of it. It was unblocked the next morning.

— We have submitted appeals through the provided forms and have also contacted Twitch representatives through other available channels. We are currently awaiting official responses.

1win esports has no interest in violating Twitch platform rules or engaging in any unlawful actions. We have seen great interest in our tournaments from the community, as evidenced by high viewership numbers both at the first event and the start of the second. Therefore, we want to create content specifically on Twitch without violating regulations.

— However, the situation forces us to hedge our bets and use other streaming services.

— To prevent a recurrence of this incident, the Russian-language playoffs broadcast of 1win Series Dota 2 Summer will take place on YouTube and Kick.

— English broadcasts will be available on Twitch and YouTube.

1win Series Summer is taking place from June 27 to 30. The tournament features 8 teams. The event's prize pool is $100,000.

As previously reported by Cyberscore.live, Team Spirit and Entity Gaming advanced to the 1win Series Summer playoffs.
