Nigma Galaxy is a European eSports organization founded by former Team Liquid players in 2019. After 2nd place at The International 2019, where the team lost to two-time champions OG, captain KuroKy announced that the squad was leaving Team Liquid to create their own tag. The main reasons for this decision were the impossibility of an outside organization to pay players of such a high class a decent salary and the increased level of literacy of participants in managing their team. Together with the players their manager and coach: almany- and rmN- respectively joined Nigma. 

The Nigma Galaxy team can be classified as one of the most stable: the original 2019 roster was retained until the spring of 2022, despite a downturn in achievements. Judging by the entire history of the team under KuroKy's leadership, replacements are made quite rarely (but aptly). Thus, MinD_ContRoL has been playing with the captain since 5Jungz, Miracle- came in 2016, replacing the inactive FATA-, GH joined on the second day of 2017, replacing BuLba. The most "fresh" player of the team, who did not become the champion of The International 2017, is w33: he was signed by Team Liquid in June 2019, replacing MATUMBAMAN.

The achievements of Nigma Galaxy players are mesmerizing: as part of Team Liquid, they were able to win at EPICENTER 2016, StarLadder i-League StarSeries Season 3, EPICENTER, China Dota2 Supermajor and of course at The International 2017, finishing 2nd at The Shanghai Major 2016, The Manila Major 2016, DreamLeague Season 8, EPICENTER XL, MDL Disneyland® Paris Major and other tournaments including The International 2019. Under their original tag, the team reached 1st place at WePlay! Bukovel Minor 2020 and WePlay! Dota 2 Tug of War: Mad Moon, was 2nd at BEYOND EPIC for Europe and CIS and 4th at ESL One Birmingham 2020 Online for Europe and CIS. KuroKy and his colleagues' total earnings surpassed the $22 million mark, making them one of the most successful players in the world.

In April 2021, the first changes took place in the roster. Midlaner w33 went into inactivity, his position was taken by Miracle-, and iLTW became the new Core. The team did not achieve high results with this roster. They took 5-6th place at WePlay AniMajor, 7-8th place at ESL One Summer 2021 and failed to qualify for The International 2021, and their biggest success was 3rd place at GAMERS GALAXY: Invitational Series Dubai 2022.

In the spring of 2022, the team underwent another reshuffle. iLTW left the team and Miracle- returned to the first position, the new Midlaner was SumaiL. The results of the team didn't change much. Nigma Galaxy took 5-6th place at Riyadh Masters 2022 and 7-8th place at ESL One Malaysia 2022. At the end of the year Miracle- went inactive due to health reasons, and ATF took his place. Together with him Nigma took 7-8th place at BetBoom Xmas Show. After six months he left the team, soon SumaiL also left. They were replaced by Yuma and Mickey. Together with them, Nigma placed 2nd at DPC WEU 2023 Tour 3: Division II and 7-8 at BetBoom Dacha.

On December 23, 2023, four players left the active roster: Yuma, Mikey and MinD_ContRoL announced that they were leaving the team, and GH went inactive, leaving KuroKy alone. Soon after, the organization announced that Miracle- and SumaiL were returning to Nigma Galaxy.

• January 5, 2024 - Nigma Galaxy has announced a new lineup. Miracle, SumaiL, and KuroKy are joined by Ghost on offlane and rmN on semi-support. 

Nigma Galaxy's new roster failed to perform well at the qualifiers for BB Dacha Dubai 2024 and DreamLeague Season 22. The team finished in 4th place and did not qualify for the top championships.

• January 20, 2024 - Ghost and rmN still leave the main roster of Nigma Galaxy 2 weeks after the announcement. January 22 - Fbz at offlane and Matthew at semi-support become new players.
