History

Universitario Esports is a Peruvian esports organization.

The club was founded in 2021, but it entered the Dota 2 pro scene only in the spring of 2023. The debut roster included players from Peru, Brazil, and Bolivia, such as James-, Rena, RdO-, Austin, and Lissex. The team's first challenge was 1XPLORE LATAM 3, where they secured third place.

Subsequently, the roster competed in the DPC SA 2023 Tour 3:CQ, finishing second and advancing to the third round of the lower division of the DPC ratings league. Later, Universitario participated in DPC SA 2023 Tour 2: Division II, alongside teams like x5Gaming, noMERCY and others from South America.

Additionally, Universitario Esports took part in LATAM Rookie Challenge 6, where they also secured third place.
