Bio

Ghost – a Malaysian professional player in Dota 2, playing as a carry. He is known for his gameplay with Royal Never Give Up and reaching 12,000 MMR. His signature heroes are Juggernaut, Faceless Void, and Morphling.

Ghost started his professional career in 2019. He began playing for the Malaysian team Dota Hero but couldn't achieve notable results. On January 4th, Ghost joined the Australian roster of Team Oracle, but he couldn't showcase his skills there either. The team was not satisfied with his performances, and after finishing 5th-6th in the Thailand Celestial Cup S2, they parted ways with Ghost. After four months, in July 2020, he got the opportunity to play professionally again under Galaxy Racer Esports. However, Ghost couldn't boast remarkable results even in this case, with only third-place finishes in the first and second seasons of the Perfect World Dota2 League - Division A. Eventually, Daniel decided to leave the organization on his own and ventured into free agency, playing for Team Mystery, 496 Gaming, and Sparking Arrow Gaming.

Although he didn't stay with any of these teams for long, Ghost attracted the attention of the reputable Chinese organization, Royal Never Give Up, during his time with Sparking Arrow Gaming. They gave him a chance to showcase his skills on the professional tier-1 stage. In this team, Ghost was able to demonstrate his level of play. Considering his past, no one expected Daniel to deliver a phenomenal performance, but he brought victories to his team at Gamers Without Borders and DPC CN 2021/2022 Tour 3: Division I. He also performed quite well at Riyadh Masters 2022, finishing 5th-6th.

In 2023, Ghost along with Xtreme Gaming was able to make it to ESL One: Berlin Major 2023 and Riyadh Masters 2023. As for The International 12, his team was one step away from a trip to the tournament, but lost to Azure Ray. In November 2023, Ghost leaves Xtreme Gaming.

At the beginning of 2024, Ghost joins Nigma Galaxy. He participated in the qualifiers for the tournaments BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 and DreamLeague Season 22 as part of the team. In both qualifiers, the team finished in 4th place and failed to advance to either tournament. The organization was dissatisfied with this result, and Ghost left Nigma Galaxy.
