Daniel Foster or Bloody Nine is a professional Dota 2 player from the United States, best known for his role as captain of Team DogChamp.
Daniel's signature character is Puck, and he has played the most matches on it. Clockwerk, on which Bloody Nine consistently shows a good game, and Spirit Breaker can also be added to this list. Although Daniel also plays more classic heroes for 5th position, such as Crystal Maiden and Treant Protector.
He started his career in May 2014, joining the Dream Destroyers team. However, the results of the collective left much to be desired, so Bloody Nine decided to leave. Since that time in his career there is a frequent change of teams. During the period 2014-2017, Bloody Nine managed to try himself in Team Red, Boreal eSports, END, eHug, Soggy Mitts, compLexity Gaming. Despite Daniel's aspirations, the results were with alternating success from failures to victories at tournaments of different levels.
The first serious achievements and the first more or less permanent team appeared in 2018, when Bloody Nine was invited to play for Black Sheep! at the North American Dota Challengers League Season 1, where he helped to get the 1st place (later he moved to this team). In addition, Bloody Nine placed in the top 4 at the 2018 World Electronic Sports Games in November. Bloody Nine's last tournament with Black Sheep! was the North American Dota Challengers League Season 2, where the team took 2nd place.
In 2021, the already experienced and very famous Daniel was invited to join the first Team DogChamp squad as captain. Under Bloody Nine's leadership, the team quickly got into the cybersports swing and started to show good results, including 2nd place at BTS Pro Series Season 12: America and 1st place at DPC NA 2023 Tour 1: Division II.
