Bio
Hang oldWhite Zhao is an American esports athlete competing in Dota 2 across all core positions.
On the professional Dota 2 scene, oldWhite debuted at the end of 2014 with Team Pineapple. He then played for teams such as DreamlsTrue, Team AGG, Starboyz, The Thundercats!, 5 Turtles, Eskeeere 11, Nic Cage, and others. In these teams, Hang primarily participated in tier-1 and tier-2 tournament qualifiers and minor competitions, without achieving significant results.
In September 2019, oldWhite joined Demon Slayers, and broke through to DreamLeague Season 12, where he reached the finals and won his first prize money. In 2020, the team placed third at Epulze Global League Season 1: NA Underdogs - Division 1, after which the roster was disbanded. Hang then played in lesser-known lineups, and in November 2021, he joined 5ManMidas. With this team, oldWhite finished fifth at ESL One DPC NA Winter: Division II and made the top-4 in the third season of the league. After that, he competed with 5ManMidas in several other tournaments, and in August left the team.
In May 2023, oldWhite joined the team For Fun, with which he participated in qualifiers for the DPC, but was unable to make it to the league. In November, Hang moved to Team Rocket to participate in qualifiers for ESL One Kuala Lumpur 2023. The team won the open stage but lost in the closed one and finished the tournament in 5-6th places.
In the spring of 2024, Hang joined No Bounty Hunters, with whom he participated in the qualifiers for ESL One Birmingham 2024. The team made it to the closed qualifiers stage, but there, after dropping to the lower bracket playoffs, No Bounty Hunters withdrew from the tournament, failing to show up for the match against Tilted Boys.
