Player Austin from from South Team Dota 2
Bio
Gian Austin Chuki Perez is a Peruvian cybersports player who has been competing in the Dota 2 competitive scene since February 2022.
Austin started his cybersport career as a member of a little-known Peruvian pack called Arch Esports. The guys tried to get into the second division of the DPC ranking league through qualifications, but at the qualifiers the team was defeated in a match against Faith mix and lost the chance to enter the main part of the tournament. Due to such a poor result, the Arch Esports roster disbanded.
In August 2022, Austin played under the tag team WANKA, with whom he tried his hand at the LATAM Rookie Challenge 1 - a dash-3 competition for Southeast Asian rosters, where the guys showed a very good game and almost easily made it to the finals, where they defeated Qhali and won gold. However, after winning the tournament Austin decided to leave the team and was inactive for several months.
Jan did not re-emerge until December 2022, when he joined the Silk roster. Under the new tag, the Peruvian cyber athlete made an appearance at the LATAM Rookie Challenge 4 online event, but failed to make it out of the group stage. Silk also tried his hand at the DPC SA 2023 Tour 2: Closed Qualifications, where he finished in third place and was one step away from advancing to the second division of the regional DPC league.
In May 2023, it was revealed that Austin took fifth position on the Universitario Esports team, under whose tag he won bronze at smaller events such as 1XPLORE Series LATAM 3 and LATAM Rookie Challenge 6. In addition, while at Universitario Esports Jan improved his individual game significantly and participated in the third round of the lower division of the Dota Pro Circuit. Now he is playing as a 5th position saport in the Peruvian team Hokori.
