Information
Bio
Roman Resolut1on Fominok is a Ukrainian professional Dota 2 player.
The first big organization for Resolut1on was Team Empire. It was one of the strongest teams in the CIS, winning Techlabs Cup 2014 Season 1 and Dota 2 Champions League Season 3. The team was able to get a direct invitation to The International 2014, but took only 13-14th place, falling out after the group stage. Roman continued to play for Team Empire and was able to earn an invite to The International 2015 again. After 9th-12th place at this tournament and failing to qualify for The Shanghai Major 2016, Resolut1on left Team Empire and headed to North America.
In the new region he joined Digital Chaos, with which he reached the grand finals of The International 2016, where he lost to Wings Gaming and earned almost $3,000,000 in prize money. The team later won ESL One Genting 2017, but Roman still left DC. With former teammates, Roman played in the Thunderbirds pack that signed the Planet Odd tag, however, due to lack of results, the team broke up.
The International 2017 Resolut1on spent in the ranks of Team Empire, replacing Chappie, who could not get a visa in time. The team reached the 7th-8th place. Roman also played for OG, replacing ana who went inactive. In the North American region he played for VGJ.Storm (later - J.Storm) and Forward Gaming, in the first team he participated in The International 2018 and again took 7-8th place.
In October 2019, Resolut1on became a member of the renewed Virtus.pro roster. Together with the team, he managed to win ESL One Los Angeles 2020 Online for Europe and CIS and take 2nd place at Epic Prime League Season 1. The team had a long slump after that, and after a 7th-8th place finish at OMEGA League: Europe Immortal Division in September 2020, the squad was disbanded.
The following season, DPC Resolut1on was represented by HellRaisers. After a series of disappointing performances, Roman left the squad and went inactive for a year. In 2022, he returns to the pro scene as an offliner for Team Secret and takes 2nd place at The International 2022.
