Bio

Eurus is a professional player from China, known as one of the strongest carry and mid players in the current regional and global Dota 2 scene. He has also been recognized by the aliases Yuno and Paparazi. Zhang is a multiple champion of tier-1 tournaments and finished in 5th-6th place at The International 2019.

Paparazi began his career at the age of 19, but it is known that he was actively playing even in the original Dota under the nickname "Reject". His first significant team was Immortal Magneto Gaming, but the team did not achieve any notable results in the span of 3 months, leading the talented midlaner to part ways. He briefly played alongside ZSMJ and InJuly for Team FanTuan. The team managed to qualify for the Dota 2 Radiant & Dire Cup 2015, finishing in the 7th-8th position, which brought Paparazi his first substantial prize winnings of around $7.7k.

Shortly after, Paparazi joined the organization Invictus Gaming and, after 2 months, became the carry for their youth squad, iG.Vitality. Within half a year, the team secured their first tier-2 tournament victory - the VPGame Pro League Season 2. This was followed by wins in the MDL2016 Autumn qualifiers, Nanyang Dota 2 Championships - Cruise Cup #1, and a 2nd place finish in the qualifiers for The Boston Major 2016, guaranteeing them a spot in the tournament. Although Eurus and his team faced challenges at the Major due to two stand-in replacements, upon their return to China, they achieved a resounding victory at World Cyber Arena 2016, earning over $340k in prize money.

Paparazi impressed the fan community during the Dota 2 Asia Championships 2017 by winning the solo mid tournament as a position 1 player. Among his opponents were Miracle-, SumaiL, and Sccc. The following year, at Dota 2 Asia Championships 2018, he successfully defended his championship title.

He made his first appearance at The International in 2017, securing 1st place in the regional qualifiers. Unfortunately, iG.Vitality struggled at the tournament and finished in the 13th-16th position. Paparazi then joined Vici Gaming, where he elevated his game to the solid tier-1 level. He became a champion at the StarLadder ImbaTV Dota 2 Minor Season 1, DreamLeague Season 11, EPICENTER Major 2019, and ONE Esports Dota 2 World Pro Invitational Singapore. He also performed admirably at other major competitions, including The International 2019, where he achieved a 5th-6th place finish. After Vici Gaming, he played for Elephant for a long period before joining Xtreme Gaming.

In 2023, Paparazi spends the season for Xtreme Gaming. A number of successful results in the local Dota Pro Circuit league among teams from China. However, there were a number of disappointing results at international tournaments. 9th-12th place at ESL One: Berlin Major 2023 and 15th-16th place at the Riyadh Masters 2023. A week after Riyadh, namely on July 31, Paparazi announces the end of his career as a professional player.
