Bio
Galvin Can Meracle Jian Wen is a professional Dota 2 player known for his nickname, which is often confused with Miracle-, including instances by Valve. Galvin has tried out various positions during his career, including Support, Offlaner, and Carry.
After starting to play DotA at around the age of 12, Galvin formed his first team and practiced with it in the evenings after school. Switching to Dota 2, he made his professional debut in late 2012 as part of First Departure, reaching the finals at the Armaggeddon Dota 2 Grand Slam Asia 2013.
In 2014, as part of Scythe Gaming Meracle won silver honors at The Inaugural, won at the Asian Cyber Games Invitational: Best of the Best and BountyHunter Asia Showdown, and was the StarLadder SEA Preseason champion representing First Departure. Between 2016 and 2017, he managed to play for various squads of Mineski, Fnatic, Moogle and WarriorsGaming.Unity, with the latter entering the top 4 at ROG MASTERS 2017. In 2018, as part of iG.Vitality, Galvin competed at MDL Changsha Major, his first major, and in 2019 made appearances at ESL One Katowice 2019 and MDL Disneyland® Paris Major for compLexity Gaming.
In 2020, Meracle was part of Team IO Dota2, then played for T1, with whom he won the Hephaestus Cup and SEA Dota Invitational Season 1, and later, as part of Team Dog, finished second at BTS Pro Series Season 4: Southeast Asia. In January 2021, he joined HOYO and qualified for Dota Pro Circuit 2021: Season 1 - Southeast Asia Lower Division, but the team finished 7th and left the second division. In the second round, Galvin played for Nigma Galaxy SEA, reaching the top 4. That same year, the team reached the top 3 at BTS Pro Series Season 6 and won BTS Pro Series Season 7. In 2022, the team was the silver medalist at DPC SEA 2021/22 Tour 1: Division II before advancing to the top division, finishing 5th at the second round and 7th at the third round. In September, the team participated in qualifying for The International 2022 and finished 12th, after which the squad was disbanded.
At the beginning of 2023 Meracle joined Myth Avenue Gaming, with whom he immediately won gold at Golden Age. The team went on to compete in the lower division of DPC SEA 2023, finishing 3rd in the first season, 6th in the second season and in the top four in the third season. In addition, the team reached the finals at 1XPLORE Asia #1 and Moon Studio Miso Soup.
In the summer of 2023, Meracle announced that he was ending his career as a professional Dota 2 player, but in early 2024 he participated in the qualifications for BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024 and DreamLeague Season 22 tournaments as a member of MY-SG team. However, the team failed to qualify for either tournament.
