Team Spirit wins PGL Arlington Major 2022 after beating PSG.LGD against all the odds

PSG.LGD, the main favorites of PGL Dota 2 Major Arlington 2022, lost to Team Spirit in the grand final of the tournament. The remake of the decisive match of The International 2021 ended with a spectacular victory of the Russian team.

Spirit earned $200,000 and 820 DPC points for winning the championship, while PSG.LGD added $100,000 to their budget. It should be noted that the participants of the grand final have already met in the playoffs of the tournament. Then, in the final of the upper bracket, the Chinese team played better and grabbed an easy win.

Within PGL Arlington Major 2022, 17 teams competed for $500,000 and 4,570 DPC points. The tournament was held from August 4 to 14.
