About the tournament

IESF World Championship is a series of tournaments organized by IESF with the participation of national teams from different countries. 16 teams will draw a prize pool of $100,000.

Participants:

  • 16 national teams (the country where the tournament is held, the previous champion and 14 teams from regional selections).

Group stage (from August 26 to August 27):

  • Single round-robin system;
  • 4 groups with 4 teams;
  • All matches Bo1;
  • The first and second place in each group qualify for the top grid;
  • Third and fourth place are eliminated.

Tiebreaker:

  • Head-to-head record between the tied participants taking only game score into account
  • Bo1 tiebreakers

Playoffs (August 27-September 3):

  • 8 teams participate;
  • Double-elemination system;
  • All matches are Bo3 format.
