Yellow Submarine missed a aatch in The International 2025 qualifier

The Dota 2 team Waffle Warriors was unfairly disqualified from the open qualifier for The International 2025 in Western Europe. One of the team members shared this information on Reddit.

According to him, the team arrived in the lobby on time and in full lineup, ready to play against Yellow Submarine. However, their opponents didn’t show up due to participating in a parallel qualifier against Team Secret.

According to the official Faceit rules, a team that fails to show up within 15 minutes of the scheduled time should receive a default loss. However, in this case, the loss was unexpectedly awarded to Waffle Warriors — allegedly for "failing to follow a specific tournament admin instruction."

The players emphasized that they received no such additional instructions. Moreover, Reddit users noted this isn’t the first time a similar situation has involved with Dmitry Korb3n Belov's team.
