Vici Gaming qualify for Esports World Cup 2026
In the grand final of the Chinese regional qualifiers for ESL Challenger CN Season 3 Powered by ACL, Vici Gaming defeated the team of Li niu Kongbo, Team Resilience, with a score of 3:1, securing a slot at Esports World Cup 2026 and earning $90,000 in prize money.
During the tournament, Vici also defeated Yakult Brothers and Xtreme Gaming, eliminating them from the qualifiers.
Alongside them at EWC 2026 will be Team Spirit, who received a direct invite as the reigning champions, as well as Xtreme Gaming, who, despite losing in the qualifiers, secured their slots thanks to EPT points.
It is worth noting that at the end of March, Zhao XinQ Zixing became part of the Vici Gaming roster, replacing Lin planet Hao due to health issues. At the same time, during these qualifiers, Hao played for Team Resilience and faced his former team.
Since the beginning of the year, the Chinese team has competed in only two tournaments, PGL Wallachia Season 7 and Season 8, but failed to place higher than 8. Also they qualified for DreamLeague Season 29 through the closed qualifiers of their region and will begin their run on May 13.

The Dota 2 tournament at Esports World Cup 2026 will take place from 06.07.2026 to 18.07.2026. 24 teams will compete for a $2,000,000 prize pool.
