Yond: "Even if you're just the janitor for Team Spirit, you're not allowed to place bets"
A major scandal erupted earlier at the PGL Wallachia Season 4 tournament. Khaled sQreen El-Khabbash, head of the Dota 2 division at Peru Edge, allegedly placed bets on tournament matches. According to PGL rules, any individuals affiliated with tournament participants including players, managers, and coaches —are strictly prohibited from betting on matches. These regulations were further tightened following this incident.
Amid the controversy, a public conflict flared up between sQreen and analyst Gleb y0nd Vazhnov. y0nd claimed that despite not being directly involved in gameplay, sQreen has access to internal information such as scrim data and match details, making any betting activity a clear conflict of interest.

He started messaging me directly, sent a bunch of things, deleted the chat, and then demanded a public apology. Meanwhile, his team was facing disqualification for two violations and he was banned from betting. Yet I’m the one who’s supposed to apologize for pointing out that the rules aren’t being applied equally?
y0nd also added that sQreen threatened him with a personal meeting and even legal action.
He literally wrote that he wants to talk to me 'about life.' I said, sure, come over. He said I’ll understand everything in person. Promised lawsuits over a post about a newly formed team. I never insulted him — just said he’s hard to reason with.
y0nd mentioned that they had previously worked together and had a neutral relationship, but now sQreen is threatening him over statements he claims harmed the team’s reputation.

In response, sQreen announced that he is preparing an exposé on y0nd, to be released after the tournament. He also stated that he would not appear on tournament broadcasts due to external pressure.
Looks like I’m out of PGL streams until the end of the tournament. There’s a small chance I’ll be back on as a guest, but it’ll be clearer later.
y0nd’s partner, Yulia NamiNetsu Zharova, responded to sQreen’s post, stating that if he proceeds with his exposé, she will reveal compromising information about El-Khabbash.
Now sQreen is threatening again in a situation where he’s clearly in the wrong. If he accuses Gleb of anything, I’ll share what this 'wonderful Dota player' said during our time at FISSURE. sQreen, you messed with the wrong people.
Earlier, Cyberscore reported that Funn1k threatened Dendi with violence over a debt.
