Rumor: Gaimin Gladiators coach may leave the team

According to rumors, Gaimin Gladiators coach Aske Cy- Larsen may leave the team. It is expected that he will not be preparing the roster for The International 2025, although there has been no official comment from the organization. 

Cy- has been with Gaimin Gladiators since December 2022, during which time he helped the team win Riyadh Masters 2024 and secure podium finishes at several major tournaments. However, in the current season, the team has yet to claim a championship title, settling for second place at PGL Wallachia Season 5 and FISSURE Universe Ep.4, and a top-8 finish at Riyadh Masters 2025.

With just over two weeks left until the biggest tournament of the year, the absence of a coach could negatively impact the team’s performance and the roster’s future prospects.

The International 2025 will take place from 04.09.2025 to 14.09.2025 in Hamburg, Germany, featuring 16 teams. The event’s starting prize pool is $1,600,000.
