Quinn on Gaimin Gladiators without dyrachyo: "Everything became really, really bad"

Gaimin Gladiators midlaner Quinn Quinn Callahan commented on the team's prolonged slump in results, which began after Anton dyrachyo Shkredov left the team. In an interview with BLAST.tv, the player noted that the team is having to regain its form through intense practice.

According to Callahan, the transition period after replacing dyrachyo turned out to be much more difficult than anyone expected.

Some things make you stronger, but in this case, it was the opposite… We worked really hard for a long time, then took second place at The International, the players went on vacation, and we relaxed. The team underestimated how much the departure of one player could affect everything. On top of that, we started putting less work into our game, and in the end, everything became really, really bad

At the same time, Quinn emphasized that the new carry Alimzhan Watson Islambekov is not to blame for the poor performance. He also mentioned that the team is gradually recovering from the crisis and is constantly working to improve.

Watson is absolutely not at fault for the poor results and bad play. We just weren’t playing well enough and weren’t putting in enough effort. Work is in progress. For most of the year we played like trash, and now we’re slowly getting stronger. The results are improving, the game feels easier, so we’re on the right track — we just need to keep working

In the midlaner’s opinion, the team will only regain its form if every player is fully committed and puts in maximum effort again.

Everyone needs to stay focused even on the small details and play at their best. When a team finds its rhythm, everything starts to click. A roster becomes strong when all of its members are in sync. In our case, everyone needs to work on themselves. Then it all comes together in a snap, and the game becomes easier

Let us remind you that in the six months following The International 2024, Gaimin Gladiators made two roster changes: Watson joined the team in place of dyrachyo, and in February, captain and support Melchior Seleri Hillenkamp left the squad — his position was taken by Arman Malady Orazbayev.

Earlier, CyberScore.live reported that Seleri hinted at an upcoming roster announcement for MOUZ.
