Elite League 1: organizers issued invites to the first group stage and closed qualifiers

The organizers of the upcoming Elite League tournament have announced the teams that have received invitations to the first group stage and closed qualifiers.

The first group stage will take place in the Swiss system format from March 31 to April 4. The top eight teams will advance to the second stage, while the rest of the clubs will leave the tournament. The games will be played in the best-of-3 format.

The known participants of the swiss stage are:

  • OG;
  • Tundra Esports;
  • Aurora Gaming;
  • Shopify Rebellion;
  • HEROIC;
  • Virtus.pro;
  • PSG.Quest. 

Also, 9 teams that will be selected in the closed qualifiers will get a place in the swiss stage. The qualifiers will take place from March 11 to March 16. Eight teams from each region and four teams from MENA will play here, some of which received a direct invitation.

North America:

  • nouns;

South America:

  • beastcoast;
  • BOOM Esports.

Western Europe:

  • Entity;
  • MOUZ;
  • Ninja Penguins.

Eastern Europe:

  • 1win;
  • YellowSubmarine;
  • L1ga Team;

Middle East and Africa:

  • N1gma Galaxy;
  • Winter Bear.

China:

  • Team Zero;
  • Kev.

Southeast Asia:

  • GeekFam;
  • Talon Esports;
  • Blacklist International;
  • Bleed Esports.
