NAVI Junior disqualified from ESL One Raleigh 2025 for bug abuse
NAVI Junior will not compete at ESL One Raleigh 2025, as reported by the organizers of the championship. The team was disqualified from the tournament for using the Smoke of Deceit bug at the qualifiers. Its place at the event will be taken by AVULUS.
“Due to multiple abuses of the Smoke Bug by NAVI Junior's Riddys throughout the WEU Qualifiers, we are disqualifying the team and inviting the next eligible team AVULUS.
This bug has been flagged in previous tournaments as cause for disqualification”
The bug abuse can be seen in the match NAVI Junior vs AVULUS in the final of WEU qualifiers, when viewing from the perspective of Stanislav Riddys Mitroshkin on Lich (1-st map). Riddys consistently clicks on the enemy Lion, who has a Smoke of Deceit, and attempts to remove the smoke from the opponent's inventory. If it has been used, a message appears stating "Item must be in inventory to use" which happened at the 18th minute of the game (18:21). Following this, Riddys and his teammates retreated to a safe zone. The NAVI Junior support also used this bug in other matches.

Western European closed qualifiers for ESL One Raleigh 2025 took place from January 18 to January 20. 8 teams competed for two slots at the tournament.
