The manager of Team Spirit Dota 2 roster Dmitry Korb3n Belov commented on the replacement of Alan Satanic Galliamov with Ilya Yatoro Mulyarchuk. Korb3n published a post on his personal channel in Telegram.

“As you already know from the announcement, in addition to Airat and Magomed, Ilya has also returned to us, who didn't plan it, but “it just happened”. Such a quick return of Ilya was a surprise, and a hard choice had to be made.

A choice that was made in favor of a more experienced and established player, in favor of a legend of this organization. It's unfortunate to part ways with Alan — he's a unique player with a youthful enthusiasm who didn’t get the chance to fully reveal his potential due to Murphy's law and various circumstances.”

Afterwards, the manager spoke to fans in the comments below the post:

“[Question: “If Satanic is likely to find a good team with a good salary, why was he dropped?”]. It's not about the team. We brought him over, covered all the expenses, got him into school, and he graduated. Everything was paid for. We helped him progress from top-500 ranks to a Tier-1 level. He attended four LAN events and earned around $100,000.

We nurtured him.

Now he's a desirable player for any Tier-1 team”

Dmitry said the organization continues to help Satanic build his career.

“We continue to guide him, look for a team, solve any problem. We don't bench and send him to a Yellow Submarine that he's outgrown.

We kicked him in the only reshuffle window of the year where he doesn't miss any qualifiers or tournaments”

One commenter pointed out that Korb3n had previously stated that Satanic would not be removed from Team Spirit if team had normal results. In response, Korb3n stated that he does not consider the team's recent results satisfactory.

“If everything’s fine, why are we playing qualifiers and Falcons, BB, PARIVISION and Liquid are not? And why haven't we won a single tier-1 team in all the tournaments except for one match against PARIVISION?”

Also, Korb3n explained why Satanic didn't replace Denis Larl Sigitov in the mid lane:

“[Question: “Why didn't you even try to replace Larl with Satanic in scrims?”]. It would ruin his year. He doesn’t plan to switch to mid permanently. He’s a carry”

Team Spirit's renewed roster will participate in the Eastern European closed qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 25, which start on January 9.

As CyberScore reported earlier, the first open qualifiers for DreamLeague Season 25 have ended.
